The Valley Temple:
Near the Nile and the iconic Great Sphinx temple.
This temple was constructed in the mid-to-late 26th century BC. It was buried beneath the sand until it was discovered in 1852 by French Egyptologist Auguste Mariette.
This explains why it is in such good condition, making it the best surviving structure from the Fourth Dynasty.
