Early in The Morning. Egypta Tours Representative Will Pick you up from your hotel or cruise to enjoy your Hot Air Balloon Ride. Transfer to marine to get your soft drink before you take the Motor Boat to transfer you to the west bank. With more than 12 you will be treated as an adult and must pay the total price of the tour.
If your travel package includes airfare, there may be an extra fee for each child accompanying you.
The child policy applies to children who share rooms with their parents (maximum of 1 child sharing the parents’ room)

Cancellation Policy

We don’t charge a cancellation fee for tours canceled for “force majeure” reasons, such as volcanoes, earthquakes, or other reasons. If the cancellation is due to personal or business reasons and we have already incurred costs on your behalf, these costs will be transferred to you.

Optional Entry Tickets

All our packages and tours of Egypt do not include entrance fees to special archaeological sites such as visiting inside the pyramids, the Museum where the Solar Boat is located in the pyramid area, or to enter the Tutankhamun tomb in the Valley of the Kings in Luxor.
If you wish to visit one or all of these areas, please contact us by email as soon as possible, so that we can make the necessary arrangements.

Most flights follow a simple flow: check-in, setup, flight, landing, and return.

You usually meet the crew at a set time, sign waivers, and get a short safety briefing. The team inflates the balloon, first with fans, then with heated air, and you board the basket once it's upright and stable.

Flights last about 45 to 75 minutes, depending on weather and package. After landing, the crew packs the balloon, you ride back to the meeting point, and many operators offer a quick toast or certificate before you go.

Hot air ballooning has a strong safety record when operated by licensed pilots who follow aviation rules.

Reputable companies use certified pilots, carry out regular inspections, and avoid flying in risky weather. Flights are canceled or rescheduled if the wind is too strong, visibility is poor, or storms are nearby.

If you want extra peace of mind, ask the operator about:

If those answers are clear and direct, you are likely in good hands.

Dress for the outdoor temperature with the idea that you will be standing still for most of the flight.

Closed-toe shoes are best, since you will likely stand in a field for takeoff or landing. Wear long pants and a light jacket or layers that you can remove if you get warm. The burner gives off some heat, but the air temperature at altitude feels similar to the ground, especially at sunrise.

Skip high heels, sandals, long scarves, or loose items that can tangle or snag.

Many people with a fear of heights say ballooning feels very different from standing on a balcony or cliff.

The basket feels stable, and you do not have the same sense of looking straight down. The motion is smooth, more like floating than riding a roller coaster. You can also stay in the center of the basket and avoid leaning on the edge if that makes you more comfortable.

If your fear is severe, talk to the operator in advance. They can explain what to expect and help you decide if it is right for you.

Most operators welcome a wide range of ages, but there are common guidelines.

Children usually must be at least 6 to 8 years old and tall enough to see over the basket without being lifted. Older adults often fly with no problem, as long as they can stand for about an hour and bend their knees slightly for landing.

Pregnant people are often not allowed to fly, since landings can sometimes be bumpy. Always ask your doctor first, then confirm the operator’s policy before you book.

Hot air balloon rides usually cause less motion sickness than planes, boats, or cars.

The basket does not sway much, and there is no sharp turning. Most people feel like they are standing still while the ground moves slowly below them. If you are very prone to motion sickness, you can still take some simple steps:

Eat a light snack, not a heavy meal, before the flight
Stay hydrated, but avoid a lot of alcohol
Talk to your doctor about motion sickness tablets if needed

Balloon flights depend heavily on calm, stable weather.

The best conditions are light winds, clear skies, and no storms nearby. This is why many flights take place at sunrise or just before sunset, when the air is more stable.

If the weather is not safe, the company will cancel or reschedule your flight, often on short notice. Good operators are very clear about their cancellation and refund policies, so read those before you book.

Plan on 3 to 4 hours for the full experience, from check-in to drop-off.

The actual flight is usually 45 to 75 minutes. Setup, inflation, travel to the launch site, safety briefing, and the ride back all add time. Operators often ask you to arrive 30 to 60 minutes before the planned takeoff so there is enough time for paperwork and safety checks.

If your flight is at sunrise, that means a very early start, but the views are often worth it.

Most companies allow cameras and smartphones, and many guests take lots of photos.

Use a wrist strap or secure grip so nothing slips out of your hands. Do not lean too far over the edge to get a shot, and follow any rules the pilot gives you about where to stand.

If you bring a larger camera, keep the strap around your neck and avoid bulky bags that clutter the basket.

Shared flights, where you ride with other guests, usually cost less. Private flights for couples or small groups cost more, but you get the basket to yourself. Weekends, sunrise flights, and peak seasons often have higher prices.
