2 Days Tour Luxor and Aswan From Port Ghalib
Luxor-To-Aswan-Two-Day-Tour-From-Port-Ghalib-Valley-Of-The-Kings-Royal-Tombs-And-Ancient-Pharaoh-Burials-Egyptatours Early in the morning, you will be picked up from your hotel in Port Ghalib in a private air conditioned vehicle and travel to Luxor to start your two day tour to Luxor and Aswan. During the journey, you will be accompanied by a private Egyptologist tour guide who will help you explore the amazing history and ancient treasures of Egyptian civilization, beginning with:

    Valley of the Kings:

The Valley of the Kings is one of the most famous ancient sites in Egypt. It was the burial place of many powerful Pharaohs who ruled during the New Kingdom period between 1550 BC and 1050 BC, including Ramses II, Tutankhamun and Seti I. Hidden deep inside the mountains are 63 tombs decorated with beautiful paintings, carvings and colorful artwork that tell stories about ancient Egyptian beliefs and royal life. Many of these royal tombs once held priceless treasures and remain an important symbol of Egypt’s rich history.

    Hatshepsut Temple:

Among all the ancient temples in Egypt, the Temple of Hatshepsut is one of the most impressive and unique. It was built around 1479 BC during the rule of Queen Hatshepsut, one of the most famous female pharaohs in ancient Egypt. The temple is known for its beautiful design and excellent condition, making it one of the best-preserved monuments from the New Kingdom period. Its stunning architecture reflects the greatness and creativity of ancient Egyptian civilization.

    Colossi of Memnon:

At the entrance of the ancient city of Luxor stand two huge stone statues known as the Colossi of Memnon. These massive quartzite sandstone statues are believed to represent Pharaoh Amenhotep III who ruled Egypt between 1386 BC and 1350 BC. The statues are one of Luxor’s most famous landmarks and give visitors a first glimpse into the greatness of ancient Egyptian civilization.

    Karnak Temple

Visiting the Karnak Temple Complex feels like walking into another world filled with history and wonder. It is one of the largest temple complexes ever built and was constructed over many centuries, from around 2055 BC to 100 AD. The site contains an amazing collection of temples, chapels, statues and sacred buildings that were used for the religious ceremonies of ancient Egypt. Karnak remains one of the most impressive and important historical attractions in Luxor. At the end of the day, you will travel to Aswan by first class train and then check in to your 5 star hotel for an overnight stay.

    Aswan High Dam:

During the 1960s, a modern engineering wonder was built to support Egypt’s growth and development. It helped control the Nile’s flooding, produce electricity for the country and improve the economy by providing water and power for many areas across Egypt.

    The Unfinished Obelisk:

One of the most interesting ancient monuments in Egypt is the Unfinished Obelisk of Queen Hatshepsut which dates back to around 1508–1458 BC. It was originally planned to stand at the entrance of Karnak Temple, but a crack appeared in the stone during construction, so it was never completed. Today, it gives visitors a rare look at how the ancient Egyptians carved and built massive obelisks.

    Philae Temple:

Philae Temple is a beautifully preserved ancient site dedicated to the goddess Isis, who was worshipped as the goddess of love, motherhood and loyalty. She was also believed to be the wife of Osiris, the god of the underworld, and the mother of Horus, the sky god. The temple was built during the Ptolemaic period, around 380 to 362 BC and reflects the famous story of Isis and Osiris that was very important in ancient Egyptian belief. After your visit, you will head to the train station to take your train back to Luxor. From there, you will be transferred by a private air conditioned vehicle to your hotel in Port Ghalib, marking the end of your two day tour to Luxor and Aswan.
