Bastet Festival: This festival was dedicated to the lioness Bastet, It celebrated fertility, dancing and music, The most prominent aspects of the celebration were the offering of animal sacrifices, The festival was a major event for the ancient Egyptians.
The ancient Egyptians divided the year into 12 months, each consisting of 30 days, The year had three seasons: Akhet, which is the flood season; Bert, the growing season; and Shemu, the harvest season, They also added five additional days in which different gods were honored.
