    It was used as tombs for pharaohs and nobles of the New Kingdom. The valley is divided into two parts, the West Valley and the East Valley.  Many tombs have been discovered, with a total of 63 tombs of varying sizes, making it a center for exploration and excavation of antiquities.

    Hatshepsut Temple.

    The Temple of Hatshepsut is one of the best-preserved temples from ancient Egypt. It was built by Queen Hatshepsut and is known for its unique architectural style, featuring a series of terraces and ramps.  The temple is constructed from limestone and contains statues of Queen Hatshepsut and the god Osiris. 

    The Colossi Of Memnon.

    They are two massive statues built to commemorate Pharaoh Amenhotep III, depicting him seated with his hands on his knees, looking towards the river.  On the front of the throne are smaller statues of his wife Tiye and his mother Mutemwiya, The statues are made of quartzite sandstone.
