According to the hypothesis, they are said to be Pharaonic tombs for the kings of ancient Egypt, representing a huge development of the idea of the first stepped pyramid of King Djoser, known as the Saqqara Step Pyramid. During the reign of King Khufu, the architect Hemion built the ideal pyramidal shape, followed by the pyramids of Khafre and Menkaure, completing the three pyramids, which are considered one of the Seven Wonders of the World.
