Port Ghalib to Luxor and Abu Simbel in 2 Days
Day-01 Visit Luxor Wonders
Early in the morning, you will leave your hotel in Port Ghalib in a comfortable air conditioned car and travel to Luxor. Once you arrive, you will start your two day tour to Luxor and Abu Simbel with your private tour guide who will take you to your first historical attraction:
Valley of the Kings:
Hidden deep within the mountains, the Valley of the Kings is one of the most famous burial sites in ancient Egypt. It contains 63 tombs belonging to the great pharaohs of the New Kingdom period between 1570 BC and 1070 BC. Among these tombs are the resting places of famous rulers such as King Tutankhamun and many kings from the Ramses dynasty. The tombs are decorated with beautiful wall paintings, ancient carvings and priceless treasures that reveal the greatness of ancient Egyptian civilization.
Hatshepsut Temple:
A visit to Luxor would not be complete without exploring the beautiful Temple of Hatshepsut, one of the best preserved ancient monuments in Egypt. This impressive temple was built in 1479 BC for Queen Hatshepsut to honor her legacy and achievements. Its unique design and stunning architecture make it one of the greatest examples of ancient Egyptian building art.
Colossi of Memnon:
The Colossi of Memnon are among the most famous ancient statues in Luxor and have amazed visitors for centuries. These two massive statues were built during the reign of King Amenhotep III between 1386 BC and 1350 BC. They were created in the king’s image and once stood at the entrance of his great temple which has mostly disappeared over time. Today, the statues remain an impressive symbol of ancient Egyptian history and architecture.
Karnak Temple
Covering around 247 acres, Karnak Temple Complex is one of the largest ancient religious sites ever built in the world. Construction of the complex started around 2055 BC and continued until 100 AD. Over nearly 2,000 years, many kings added temples, chapels and shrines dedicated to different ancient Egyptian gods, including Amun, Mut, Khonsu, Isis and Osiris. Today, Karnak remains one of the most impressive historical sites in Egypt. We will take you to the train station to board your first class train to Aswan. When you arrive in Aswan, our team will transfer you to your hotel where you will spend the night.

Day-02 Discover Abu Simbel Temples
In the morning, you will receive your breakfast box before meeting your tour guide. Then, you will travel to Abu Simbel to see one of the most amazing monuments in history.
Abu Simbel Temples:
On the final day of your tour, you will visit the incredible Abu Simbel Temple, one of the most remarkable monuments ever built. It was created during the reign of Ramses II between 1264 BC and 1244 BC to honor the gods and his wife, Queen Nefertari. This amazing temple is also known for the famous Sun Festival which takes place every year on the 22nd of February and 22nd of October. After the visit, you will return by train to Luxor and then continue your journey back to your hotel in Port Ghalib, bringing your two day tour to Luxor and Abu Simbel to an end.

Cancellation Policy

We don’t charge a cancellation fee for tours canceled for “force majeure” reasons, such as volcanoes, earthquakes, or other reasons. If the cancellation is due to personal or business reasons and we have already incurred costs on your behalf, these costs will be transferred to you.

Optional Entry Tickets

All our packages and tours of Egypt do not include entrance fees to special archaeological sites such as visiting inside the pyramids, the Museum where the Solar Boat is located in the pyramid area, or to enter the Tutankhamun tomb in the Valley of the Kings in Luxor.
If you wish to visit one or all of these areas, please contact us by email as soon as possible, so that we can make the necessary arrangements.
