Itinerary

Cairo -Day -Tour- From -Port- Ghalib- by- AIR-Ride-Camel- Museum-EgyptaTours Early in the morning, you will be picked up from your hotel in Port Ghalib and taken to Marsa Alam Airport. From there, you will fly to Cairo, where your private tour guide will be waiting for you. After meeting your guide, you will start your journey to explore the city’s amazing attractions including its most famous landmarks.

Giza Pyramids Complex

The Giza Pyramids Complex is a stunning site made up of many impressive structures. It includes the three Great Pyramids, the Great Sphinx, the Valley Temple and six smaller pyramids. This area is one of Egypt’s most famous landmarks and shows the amazing skill and creativity of the ancient Egyptians.

The Great Pyramid

Built around 2580 BC, the Great Pyramid of Khufu was made using about 2.3 million limestone blocks and originally stood about 147 meters (481 feet) tall. Inside, it has a complex system of passages and chambers that show the advanced skills of its builders. It is the only surviving structure of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, which makes it one of the most remarkable monuments in history.

The Great Sphinx

In the center of the Giza complex stands one of the world’s oldest and largest statues, known as the Great Sphinx. It is seen as a symbol that guards the ancient land of Egypt. The Sphinx has the body of a lion and the head of a man which is believed to represent King Khafre. It measures about 73 meters (240 feet) long and 19 meters (66 feet) wide, making it an impressive and powerful monument from ancient times.

The Valley Temple

The ancient Egyptians believed strongly in life after death, a belief that goes back to the Old Kingdom period (2686–2134 BC). During this time, valley temples were built and used as important places where the mummification process took place. These practices show how much the ancient Egyptians valued preserving the body and preparing for the afterlife.

The Grand Egyptian Museum

The Grand Egyptian Museum is a huge, modern museum built near the Giza Pyramids and covering about 490,000 square meters. It is designed to bring together more than 5,000 years of Egyptian history in one place, showing the culture, beliefs and achievements of ancient Egypt in a clear and engaging way. The museum connects the ancient world with modern design through its advanced architecture and interactive displays. It also includes one of the largest conservation centers in the Middle East, along with research labs and learning spaces that help protect and study Egypt’s heritage. Visitors can see amazing pieces such as the Hanging Obelisk, the giant statue of Ramses II and the full collection of over 5,000 treasures from King Tutankhamun.

The Egyptian Museum

The Egyptian Museum is a historic and elegant building that was opened in 1901. It was built to showcase the greatness and achievements of ancient Egyptian civilization. Located in the center of downtown Cairo, it has long served as a major place for preserving and displaying Egypt’s ancient treasures.

Al Muizz Street

Al Muizz Street is one of the most famous and historic streets in Cairo. It was founded during the Fatimid era in the 10th century and once served as an important center for trade and daily life in the city. Today, the street is filled with traditional cafes, small museums and art spaces that reflect the beauty of Islamic culture during its golden age. Walking through it feels like stepping back in time, surrounded by historic buildings and rich heritage.

Khan El Khalili Bazaar

Khan El Khalili Bazaar is one of Cairo’s most famous and lively markets. It was built during the Mamluk era between 1382 and 1389 AD as a place for trade and social life. Today, it is full of charm and history, offering many traditional goods that reflect Egypt’s long and rich 5000 year old civilization. In this trip, you will travel to Cairo Airport, fly to Hurghada Airport and then continue your journey back to your hotel in Port Ghalib.
