    Giza Pyramids Complex

Egypt is home to some of the most amazing ancient monuments in the world, built more than 4,500 years ago. The site includes the three Great Pyramids, the famous Sphinx, the Valley Temple and six smaller pyramids that reflect the beauty and skill of ancient Egyptian builders.

    The Great Pyramid

The Great Pyramid of Giza was built around 2580 BC using nearly 2.3 million limestone blocks and originally reached a height of 147 meters. It was created as the tomb of Pharaoh Khufu and is famous for its amazing design and hidden inner passages. One of the most special things about the pyramid is that it is the only surviving wonder of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World.

    The Sphinx

You will see the famous Great Sphinx, one of the oldest and most impressive statues in the world. The statue is about 73 meters long and 19 meters wide. It was carved in the shape of a mythical creature with the body of a lion and the head of a man, believed to represent King Khafre.

    The Valley Temple

The mummification process was one of the most important traditions in ancient Egypt. It was used to preserve the bodies of pharaohs before burial and many of these rituals were performed inside the granite built Valley Temple.

    The Grand Egyptian Museum

The Grand Egyptian Museum is a huge modern museum near the Giza Pyramids, covering about 490,000 square meters. It brings together more than 5,000 years of Egyptian history and helps visitors learn about the art, culture and beliefs of ancient Egypt in a simple and engaging way. The museum combines modern design with advanced technology to present history in an interactive and easy to understand form. It also includes one of the largest conservation and restoration centers in the Middle East, along with research and education facilities that help protect Egypt’s heritage. Inside the museum, visitors can see amazing artifacts such as the Hanging Obelisk, the massive statue of Ramses II and the complete collection of treasures from King Tutankhamun.

    The Egyptian Museum

This place shows the beauty and art of ancient Egyptian civilization, with amazing artifacts made from stone and precious materials that represent over 5,000 years of history. These pieces highlight the great skill and dedication of the ancient Egyptians. In the evening, you will be taken to Cairo Airport for your flight to Luxor. When you arrive in Luxor, our representative will be waiting for you and will transfer you to your 5 star hotel for an overnight stay.

    Valley of the Kings

This area is known as the resting place of Egypt’s New Kingdom rulers (around 1570–1544 BC) including famous pharaohs from the time of Ramses and Tutankhamun. It contains up to 63 royal tombs, filled with fascinating treasures and beautifully painted walls. Many of these artworks and decorations are still well preserved today, showing the skill and creativity of ancient Egyptian artists.

    Hatshepsut Temple

If you are interested in ancient Egyptian architecture and the legacy of Queen Hatshepsut (1479–1458 BC), then visiting her temple is a must. This impressive temple was completed around 1479 BC under the supervision of Senenmut, her trusted overseer of construction. The temple was built to honor the great god Amun and remains one of the finest examples of ancient Egyptian design.

    Colossi of Memnon

The famous Colossi of Memnon were built by Pharaoh Amenhotep III (1386–1350 BC) to stand in front of his mortuary temple. They were later moved to Luxor and are believed to represent the pharaoh himself. Each statue is about 18 meters (60 feet) high. After that, lunch will be served on an island during a relaxing boat ride. Then, you and your private tour guide will continue your visit to the next sites.

    Karnak Temple

A visit to Luxor is not complete without exploring the Karnak Temple, one of the most impressive temple complexes in the world. It was built over 3,500 years ago to honor the ancient Egyptian gods such as Amun, Ptah, Mut, Isis, Khonsu and others. The temple is known for its massive columns, statues and detailed carvings that show the greatness of ancient Egypt. After the visit, you will be transferred back to your hotel in Port Ghalib in a comfortable air conditioned vehicle, marking the end of your 2 day Cairo and Luxor tour.
