Trip to Cairo and Pyramids From Hurghada
Day-01 Pyramids and GEM Tour
In the early morning check out from your hotel in Hurghada, join your tour guide by A/C vehicles to Cairo, then head to visit:
Giza pyramids:
The pyramids were built in this pyramidal shape, which was connected to the idea of the universe creation among the ancient Egyptians, to help the deceased's soul reach the heavens with the god Ra.
The Great Pyramid of Giza, “Khufu pyramid”:
It was built as a tomb for Pharaoh Khufu of the Fourth Dynasty and took 20 years to complete. The construction of the Great Pyramid is a major cultural transformation in the history of ancient Egypt.
The Great Sphinx:
The Great Sphinx is the oldest monumental sculpture known in Egypt and one of the most famous statues in the world. Archaeological evidence indicates that it was created by the ancient Egyptians during the Old Kingdom period, during the reign of Pharaoh Khafre, It is carved from limestone, depicting a mythical creature with a human head and a lion's body in a reclining position.
The Valley Temple:
The Valley Temple of Khafre is a very old temple in Egypt, built around 2570 BCE. It was an important place for ceremonies when a pharaoh died. The temple was the starting point for the pharaoh's journey to the afterlife. This temple is special because it's still in good condition, even though it's so old. It was built with big limestone blocks and covered in polished granite. This has helped it survive for thousands of years, making it one of the best-preserved structures from ancient Egypt.

The Grand Egyptian Museum:
Grand Egyptian museum has a huge collection of ancient Egyptian artifacts, with over 100,000 pieces. This includes the famous King Tutankhamun collection, which has 5,398 pieces and takes up a big space in the museum. After that our tour guide will accompany you to check in a 5* hotel for your night.

After your breakfast you will check out the hotel and join your tour guide to visit Cairo highlights such as:
The Citadel of Saladin:
The Citadel of Saladin in Cairo is one of the most amazing military fortresses built in the Middle Ages. forming a natural barrier between the two cities. The citadel has witnessed many historical events, including the Ayyubid and Mamluk periods, the French campaign on Egypt in 1798, and the rule of Muhammad Ali Pasha, who restored its glory.
The Mosque of Muhammad Ali:
The Mosque of Muhammad Ali is a famous historical mosque in Cairo. It was built by Muhammad Ali Pasha, inspired by the Sultan Ahmed Mosque in Istanbul. It's often referred to as the Mosque of Marble due to the extensive use of marble in its construction.
Al-Mu'izz Street
Al-Mu'izz Street is the main street in Old Cairo, built to be an open-air museum of Islamic architecture and heritage. During the Mamluk period, the street became a hub of economic and cultural activities, filled with religious, educational, medical, commercial, and residential buildings. Today, the street is home to many important Islamic monuments in Egypt.
Khan El-Khalili:
Khan El-Khalili is one of Egypt's most important tourist areas. It's known for its narrow streets, bazaars, shops, and traditional restaurants. The area inspired many Egyptian writers, like Naguib Mahfouz, who wrote a novel called "Khan el-Khalili". During your visit, you can see old mashrabiyas and beautiful sabils decorated with copper. The streets are crowded, and vendors greet visitors with phrases like "Egypt is shining" and "come take a look".

The lunch will be at Al-Fishawi Cafe, one of the most famous local restaurants at khan elkhalili After lunch you will head with your tour guide to visit the coptic Cairo where you will explore:
The Hanging Church:
The Hanging Church is named by this name because it was built on two towers of the old Roman fortress (Babylon Fortress) in the 2nd century AD. It's one of the oldest churches in Egypt. At the end of the day you will be transferred to go back to Hurghada where you will check in the hotel and spend your night there.

From 2 to 5 – You will have a 25% discount on the total value of the tour.
From 6 to 11 – You will have a 50% discount on the total value of the tour.
With more than 12 you will be treated as an adult and must pay the total price of the tour.
If your travel package includes airfare, there may be an extra fee for each child accompanying you.
The child policy applies to children who share rooms with their parents (maximum of 1 child sharing the parents’ room)

Reservations should be made as soon as possible.

Cancellation Policy

We don’t charge a cancellation fee for tours canceled for “force majeure” reasons, such as volcanoes, earthquakes, or other reasons. If the cancellation is due to personal or business reasons and we have already incurred costs on your behalf, these costs will be transferred to you.

Optional Entry Tickets

All our packages and tours of Egypt do not include entrance fees to special archaeological sites such as visiting inside the pyramids, the Museum where the Solar Boat is located in the pyramid area, or to enter the Tutankhamun tomb in the Valley of the Kings in Luxor.
If you wish to visit one or all of these areas, please contact us by email as soon as possible, so that we can make the necessary arrangements.

The Citadel of Saladin in Cairo is one of the most magnificent military fortresses built in the Middle Ages. Its location is strategically important, providing defensive significance as it overlooks the cities of Cairo and Fustat, forming a natural barrier between the two cities.
This location also allows for communication between the citadel and the city during a siege, making it the last stronghold in case the city falls to the enemy.

The Grand Egyptian Museum idea started in the 1990s when Farouk Hosni was the Minister of Culture. He wanted a new museum because the old one in Tahrir Square was too small and not modern.
In 1992, the government decided to build a new museum, and in 2002, they laid the foundation stone. Construction started in 2005.
