Welcome to Egypt! When you arrive at Cairo International Airport, our representative will meet you and help you with all arrival procedures including customs and luggage. Day-02 Visit Giza Pyramids Complex & GEM
After breakfast, you will meet your tour guide and begin your day trip in a comfortable private air conditioned vehicle. You will head out to explore the planned sightseeing spots with your guide.
Giza Pyramids Complex
The Giza Pyramids Complex is a remarkable ancient burial site and one of the most famous places in history. It contains some of the greatest works left by ancient Egyptian civilization. The area is best known for its three large pyramids which stand as powerful symbols of Egypt’s past. The Great Pyramid, the largest of them, is especially admired and is considered one of the greatest wonders ever built.
The Great Pyramid
On the land of Giza stands the great pyramid built for Pharaoh Khufu (2609–2584 BC). It was the tallest man made structure in the world for more than 3,800 years after it was completed around 2570 BC. The pyramid rises to about 138.5 meters (454 feet) and was built using around 2.3 million limestone blocks, weighing roughly 6 million tons in total. It is also carefully aligned with the four main directions of the compass. Today, it remains the only surviving wonder of the original Seven Wonders of the Ancient World.
The Great Sphinx
The Great Sphinx is a huge limestone statue located in the Giza Plateau. It has the body of a lion and the head of a human and it is often seen as a symbol of strength and bravery. The statue is believed to represent Pharaoh Khafre and was built during Egypt’s Fourth Dynasty.
The Valley Temple
The Valley Temple, built during the Fourth Dynasty for King Khafre, is an impressive ancient structure. It was used for important religious purposes including purification and mummification rituals. One of the key ceremonies performed there was the “Opening of the Mouth” ritual. The temple also served as a place for funerary practices and hosted major religious festivals in ancient times.
The Grand Egyptian Museum
The Grand Egyptian Museum is a modern and impressive gateway to more than 5,000 years of ancient Egyptian history and culture. After breakfast at your hotel, you will meet your private tour guide and start your trip to explore the top Coptic sites in Cairo.
St Virgin Mary Church
St. Virgin Mary Church is located in Maadi and is considered one of the most beautiful Coptic landmarks in Cairo. It is dedicated to the Virgin Mary and is believed to be an important stop where the Holy Family began their journey to Upper Egypt along the Nile. The church is also well known for its simple and elegant architectural design.
The Hanging Church
The Hanging Church is one of the oldest Christian churches in Egypt, dating back to the 9th century. It gets its name because it is built above the gatehouse of the Roman Fortress of Babylon, giving the impression that it is “hanging” in the air.
The Church of St Sergius & Bacchus
Saint Sergius Church, also known as Abu Serga, is an important Coptic church in Old Cairo that goes back to the 5th century. It is believed to be built above a cave where the Holy Family stayed for about three weeks during their journey in Egypt. The church was also dedicated to honor the Roman soldiers Sergius and Bacchus who were killed in Syria because of their Christian faith. Today, it remains a very special and historic religious site.
The Church of Saint Menas
The Church of Saint Menas is one of the oldest Coptic churches, located in Fum El Khalig in Old Cairo. It is dedicated to Saint Mina. The first church on this site was built in the 6th century, but it was later damaged over time. The current building was rebuilt in the 12th century. At one point, the church also kept the relics of Saint Mina before they were moved to his monastery in Alexandria.

Day-04 Wadi El Natrun Tour
After breakfast and check out, you will be picked up in a private air conditioned car to continue your tour and visit the next sites.
Wadi El Natrun
Wadi El Natrun is a well known Christian area in Egypt and an important center in the history of monastic life. A private Egyptologist will accompany you to this holy place which is believed to be the birthplace of Christian monasticism. In the 4th century, many Christians came here to escape persecution under the Roman Empire and the area once had around 50 monasteries. Today, only four monasteries are still active. During your visit, you will start with the Monastery of Al Baramus, then continue to the Monastery of Saint Bishoy, where Saint Bishoy is believed to be buried. You will also visit the Syrian Monastery, where you can admire its beautiful architecture, artwork and peaceful atmosphere. After that, we will take you by car to Alexandria, where you will enjoy a tasty lunch at a local restaurant.

Day-05 Trip in Alexandria
After breakfast at your hotel, your tour guide will meet you and take you on a wonderful trip to explore the top historical and Coptic sites in Alexandria.
Catacombs of kom El Shoqafa
The Catacombs are an ancient burial site that dates back to the 2nd century AD, but they were mostly used during the 4th century AD. They were discovered in 1900 and are made up of three underground levels. The site also has a central shaft supported by six pillars which leads to the main entrance area.
Qaitbay Citadel
The Citadel of Qaitbay is one of the strongest castles on the Mediterranean Sea. It was built in 1477 AD by Sultan Qaitbay and shows the beautiful style of Mamluk architecture. In the 15th century, it was an important fortress used for defense. Later, it was also used to store ships and weapons after 1517 AD and it continued to serve this purpose for several centuries.
Catholic Church of St Catherine
Now it’s time to visit one of the most important religious sites in Alexandria, Saint Catherine Church. This old Roman style building was built in 1882. The church stands on the same site where an Augustinian monastery once existed during the Crusader period. Inside, you can still see traces of Crusader style wall designs and the church includes several small chapels within its rooms.
Alexandria Library
The Alexandria Library is one of the most famous cultural landmarks in the world. In ancient times, the original Library of Alexandria was built during the Ptolemaic period and is believed to have held around 700,000 scrolls and books. The modern library was rebuilt in 1974 and officially opened in 2002. Today, it is a major center for knowledge, learning and research and is known worldwide for its large collection and cultural importance. You will travel back to Cairo and stay overnight at a 5 star hotel to relax and rest.

Day-06 Trip to El Matariya and Zeitoun Church
After breakfast, your private Egyptologist guide will meet you and take you to El Matariya, also known as Ancient Heliopolis, to start your visit.
The Virgin's Mary Tree
The Tree of the Virgin Mary is an old sycamore tree believed to be a resting place of the Holy Family during their time in Egypt. For many years, it has been a place of pilgrimage for visitors. According to tradition, a spring of water appeared at this spot, where the Virgin Mary used to wash the Child Jesus and it is also said that the balsam plant grew nearby.
The Church of the Virgin Mary in Zeitoun
This place is believed to be one of the locations where the Holy Family stayed during their time in Egypt. The church here was designed by the Italian architect Leomengelli and its design reflects Italian artistic style. Inside, the walls are decorated with carvings and artwork showing the Virgin Mary and the Child Jesus, giving the church a special and peaceful feeling.

Day-07 Visit Mostorod, Samnoud and Sakha

According to tradition, Jesus blessed the local community during their visit. Today, the Church of St. Abanoub stands in this place, built over the remains of an older church that once existed there.
Sakha
Sakha is a small and peaceful village with a strong religious history and natural charm. It is believed that the Holy Family once passed through this area during their journey in Egypt. According to tradition, there is a rock in the village where the footprint of Jesus can be seen and it is said that the Virgin Mary marked it. Today, Sakha is visited by many people who come to learn about its spiritual significance.

Day-08 Visit Tel Basta and Tanis
Get ready to continue your Holy Family journey. After breakfast, you will be picked up from your hotel in a private car with your personal guide, who will take you to your next destination.
The Village of Tel Basta
Tel Basta is a quiet and historic village with strong religious importance. It is believed to be one of the places visited by the Holy Family during their journey in Egypt. According to tradition, a water spring appeared here to provide drinking water during their travels across the country. Today, Tel Basta is known for its peaceful atmosphere and its connection to this sacred history.
Tanis
You will have the chance to visit the ancient city of Tanis, one of the oldest cities in human history. This famous archaeological site is also known for being featured in the film Raiders of the Lost Ark. During your visit, you will explore the remains of old temples and tombs that date back to the 26th Dynasty giving you a glimpse into Egypt’s rich and ancient past. Day-09 Visit Tel Basta and Tanis

The Sinai Peninsula
The Sinai region offers a beautiful and peaceful journey through one of Egypt’s most special areas. Along the way, you will pass by the Springs of Moses (Ain Mousa), a well known natural spot with historical importance. After that, you will continue to the Pharaoh’s Hot Springs (Hammam Pharaoh) and then travel on to Abu Zanima, a small coastal town known for fishing and its calm atmosphere. After lunch, you will continue your journey until you reach the desert oasis of Wadi Feiran. There, you will visit the Monastery of the Nuns and enjoy the peaceful desert surroundings. You will then be transferred to St. Catherine where you will spend the night and relax.

Day-10 Visit St Catherine Monastery
You will start very early in the morning, around 2:00 am and head to Mount Moses. There, you will meet your Bedouin guide and begin climbing the mountain. Once you reach the top, you will enjoy a special view before visiting one of the most important monasteries in history.
St Catherine Monastery
This monastery is one of the most beautiful and important Christian sites in the world. It was built by Emperor Justinian in 527 AD on the remains of an older church that was founded in 337 AD by Empress Helena. Because of its long history and religious importance, it attracts visitors from many countries. After your visit, you will return to your hotel to have breakfast and prepare your luggage. Then, you will travel back to Cairo where you will spend the night at a 5 star hotel.

From 2 to 5 – You will have a 25% discount on the total value of the tour.
From 6 to 11 – You will have a 50% discount on the total value of the tour.
With more than 12 you will be treated as an adult and must pay the total price of the tour.
If your travel package includes airfare, there may be an extra fee for each child accompanying you.

Cancellation Policy

We don’t charge a cancellation fee for tours canceled for “force majeure” reasons, such as volcanoes, earthquakes, or other reasons. If the cancellation is due to personal or business reasons and we have already incurred costs on your behalf, these costs will be transferred to you.

Optional Entry Tickets

All our packages and tours of Egypt do not include entrance fees to special archaeological sites such as visiting inside the pyramids, the Museum where the Solar Boat is located in the pyramid area, or to enter the Tutankhamun tomb in the Valley of the Kings in Luxor.
If you wish to visit one or all of these areas, please contact us by email as soon as possible, so that we can make the necessary arrangements.

 Verified Family Tour We had Had a great tour with mona and Abdul to the pyramids and sphinx as well as a flexible tour to see some Egyptian historical sites. they guided us everywhere and was very detailed and knowledgeable in his explanations. I found EgyptaTours and was very pleased with the itinerary options they offered. My agent was super helpful in the planning process and the accommodations once we arrived to Egypt were OUTSTANDING. Our guides were fabulous, communicative, highly knowledgeable, and super friendly. They even allowed us to alter our itenerary in Egypt to allow us time to see some new things that we didn't know about while planning the trip!
