This 14 Days Egypt Trip at Christmas is designed for travelers who want more than a holiday… they want an experience they’ll talk about for years.

Your journey begins in Cairo, where the Great Pyramids rise silently from the desert as they have for thousands of Christmases before. You’ll wander through the bustling bazaars, taste warm Egyptian hospitality, and feel the stories of pharaohs come alive through your expert Egyptologist guide.

Then, the Nile welcomes you aboard slow, peaceful, timeless. As you sail between Aswan and Luxor, each day brings another unforgettable sight: temples carved from stone, legends whispered through the halls, sunsets that paint the river in shades of gold and rose.

When it’s time to unwind, Hurghada offers the perfect Christmas escape. Soft beaches, clear waters, colorful reefs, and days that unfold gently exactly how a holiday should feel. Egyptian Museum – 14-Days-Egypt-Trip-at-Christmas-EgyptaTours You will be picked up from your hotel in Cairo by our tour guide for a visit to the Pyramids of Giza (Cheops, Chephren, and Mykerinus). After that, you will see the Great Sphinx and the Valley Temple. Then you will visit the Egyptian Museum.

The Great Pyramid Of Cheops:

Pharaoh Khufu started building the first pyramid in Giza around 2550 B.C. His Great Pyramid is the biggest of the three and is about 481 feet (147 meters) high. It was built with about 2.3 million stone blocks, each weighing between 2.5 and 15 tons. Each side of the pyramid is about 230 meters (750 feet) long, and the difference between the sides is only 4.4 cm. The base is also almost perfectly level, showing amazing engineering skill.

The Great Sphinx:

The Great Sphinx of Giza is a huge limestone statue that is about 4,500 years old. It sits near the Great Pyramid in Giza. The statue is 240 feet (73 meters) long and 66 feet (20 meters) high, making it one of the largest monuments in the world. It is also one of the most famous symbols of ancient Egypt, although its exact origins and history are still not fully known.

The Valley Temple:

The Valley Temple of King Chephren is part of the Giza Pyramids Complex. It is a popular place for visitors to Egypt and shows the greatness of ancient Egyptian civilization. It also proves how important the Fourth Dynasty was in Egypt’s history. The Valley Temple of Chephren is one of the best-preserved buildings from the Old Kingdom.

The Egyptian Museum:

The Egyptian Museum shows a rare collection of more than 250,000 real artifacts from up to 5,000 years ago. It also has a special section for Tutankhamun, with his treasures, gold, and jewelry that stayed in his tomb for over 3,500 years until it was found in 1920.

Al-Montazh-Palace-EgyptaTours-14-Days-Egypt-Trip-at-Christmas-EgyptaTours Start at 7:00 am. Our Egyptologist will pick you up from your hotel, and you will travel to Alexandria by private air-conditioned car. Alexandria is about 220 km northwest of Cairo. You will arrive in Alexandria around 10:00 am. Begin your tour in Alexandria by visiting the Roman Catacombs of Kom el Shoqafa.

The Catacombs Kom el Shoqafa:

Archaeologists think that the Catacombs of Kom el Shoqafa were built in the 2nd century A.D. and were used for burying the dead for about 200 years. At that time, Alexandria had many different cultures mixed together. The city also had a long history from the great Egyptian kingdoms that went back thousands of years.

Pompey Pillar:

It is not related to Pompey. The name comes from the story that the Roman general may have been buried here after he went to Egypt and was killed following a big defeat in Greece against Caesar. The red granite column was likely built to honor Emperor Diocletian. Today, it is 25 meters high and is the tallest ancient monument in Alexandria.

The Citadel of Sultan Qaitbay:

The Qaitbay Citadel was built in the 15th century by the Mamluk Sultan Qaitbay to protect the city from the Crusaders. This amazing Islamic monument was built using parts of the old lighthouse, which was made by Ptolemy II in the 3rd century B.C. The lighthouse was damaged in an earthquake in Egypt in 1303 A.D., during the rule of Sultan Qaitbay.

The new Library of Alexandria:

The Library of Alexandria reopened in October 2002 to continue the legacy of the ancient library. It is not only a very beautiful building, but also a large place where art, history, philosophy, and science meet. It also offers many activities, making it a place for discussion, conversation, and learning.

Al Montazah Palace:

The Montaza Palace gardens are at the eastern side of Alexandria on Egypt’s north coast. The area is about 360 acres and has a beautiful view of Al Montaza Gulf. There are also five beaches for swimming: Aida, Cleopatra, Vanessa, Semiramis, and the private beach of Helnan Palestine Hotel. Montaza is a place where visitors can enjoy many fun activities. At the end of your tour check into your hotel in  Alexandria.

About 815 soldiers were identified, and their names are written on their graves.

The German war Memorial:

Three kilometers west of the Italian marker is the German war memorial, a single eight-sided building built in 1959 that overlooks the sea. It was designed like the Castle del Monte. The memorial holds the bodies of 4,280 German soldiers. At the entrance, there is a large golden mosaic. To the right of the entrance is a small chapel where families and friends honor the dead with wreaths, photos, and memorial ribbons.

The Great Temple was dedicated to Ramses II, Ra-Harakhty, Amun Ra, and Ptah, and has four huge statues. The second temple was for Queen Nefertari and the goddess Hathor. Both temples were carefully taken apart and rebuilt on higher ground. Saving the two Abu Simbel temples is considered one of UNESCO’s greatest achievements. The High Dam:

The Aswan High Dam is a rock-fill dam at the northern border between Egypt and Sudan. The Nile River feeds the dam, and its reservoir is called Lake Nasser. Construction started in 1960 and finished in 1968. It was officially opened in 1971.

The Unfinished Obelisk:

The Unfinished Obelisk in Aswan was made from Egypt’s best granite, used for statues, temples, pyramids, and obelisks. The large unfinished obelisk in the Northern Quarries helps us understand how these monuments were made, though the full process is not completely known. Three sides of the 42-meter-long shaft were finished, but the inscriptions were not done. If completed, the obelisk would weigh 1,168 tonnes, making it the heaviest stone ever made by the ancient Egyptians. Fly to Cairo from Aswan- Transfer to your hotel in Cairo
