    Grand Egyptian Museum:

The Grand Egyptian Museum is considered a gate to another world, the world's largest museum as it contains a single civilization, showcasing the rich heritage of ancient Egypt. This architectural marvel boasts expansive open spaces, stunning lighting, and glass walls that offer breathtaking views of the pyramids.  The museum's collection includes an impressive array of statues and artifacts of ancient Egyptian art, with the colossal statue of Ramses II welcoming visitors in the grand lobby, With a vast repository of 100,000 artifacts spanning the Pharaonic, Greek, and Roman eras, the museum is the home of 15,000 previously unseen pieces, including the complete collection of Tutankhamun's artifacts, displayed together for the first time.

The Internal Layout Of The Museum:

The museum contains 12 main halls, vertically divided into 3 sections resembling the horizontal layout of the museum, overlooking the Giza Pyramids The halls are divided into sections dedicated to beliefs (halls 3, 4, 9, 10), royal halls (2, 5, 8, 11), and society halls (1, 6, 7, 12). The exhibits are also organized horizontally into four groups, covering ancient Egyptian eras from prehistoric times to the Roman era, with two special halls dedicated to King Tutankhamun.  The Grand Staircase, or the main hall, is the first thing that greets visitors, featuring a statue of King Ramses II. There's also a promenade between the museum and the pyramids.

    Main Lobby

The grand lobby is a masterpiece of this century's art and an entrance to another era, dominated by the statue of Ramses II. We'll start with the statue of King Ramses II in the grand hall, and our tour guide will talk about the statue, its carving, and its discovery.  He'll also explain how a colossal statue like this was transported to the museum, despite being originally located in Ramses Square.  Then, we'll move on to the statue of King Senusret and the head of King Psamtik I, among other statues.

    The Two Hall of Tutankhamun

Imagine a complete treasure gathered in one place, over 5,000 pieces including some that were never exhibited before, of King Tutankhamun's belongings are now available for display together at the Grand Egyptian Museum, more than 100 years after the tomb's discovery, and this is the museum's greatest treasure.  After some of the artifacts were restored and the possibility of moving the mummy was studied, but it was decided not to move the mummy from its place, as archaeology experts advised that it is best to remain as it is in the Valley of the Kings in its own tomb, making this area a tourist destination.

    History Hall

In the hall of History, we will see how the ancient Egyptians recorded their wars and victories, as well as their daily life experiences. All of this and more is documented on the artifacts that will transport you to the midst of these events. Until you reach  the Roman era. With each hall, you'll enter a different world, as if stepping through a time portal into another era. You'll live among the artifacts, feeling as though you're witnessing their creation. You'll uncover the mysterious stories behind the relics and the curse of the pharaohs, and your eyes will be dazzled by the wonders you see.

    The Funerary Art Hall

The Funerary Art Hall, which contains funerary artifacts such as coffins, funerary statues, and tools that were placed with the deceased, as they believed in the afterlife.

    The Khufu Ship Hall.

The Khufu Ship Hall contains the Khufu Solar Boat, a masterpiece of ancient Egyptian shipbuilding, crafted from cedar wood and used in sacred rituals. This exhibit highlights the ingenuity of ancient Egyptian shipwrights.
