Day 1: Cairo

When you arrive at Cairo Airport, our representative from Egypta Tours will be waiting for you, holding a sign with the name of our company. You will be transferred to your hotel in an air-conditioned vehicle. Enjoy your overnight stay in Cairo.

Day 2: Pyramids and Egyptian Museum Tour

After breakfast, start your Egypt group tours by visiting the Egyptian Museum of Antiquities, which houses a rare 5,000-year-old collection of art, including Tutankhamun’s famous collection of treasures, gold and jewelry. Next, visit the Great Pyramids of Giza, including the pyramids of Khufu, Khafre and Mykerinos. Don’t miss the chance to see the mysterious Sphinx and valley temples.

Giza Pyramids Complex

Your visit to Egypt should definitely start with a wonderful tour to a magnificent site like the Giza Necropolis which contains some amazing monuments and landmarks including the three magnificent pyramids of the three amazing kings Khufu, Khafre and Mecerinus.

The Great Pyramid

The extraordinary Pyramid of Khufu (2609 BC – 2584 BC) is also known as one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World and the only one standing, completed in 2570 BC and designed by master architect Henmiunu.

This great tomb is 138.5 meters (454.4 feet) high and contains 2.3 million limestones weighing a total of 6 million tons, and houses the main King’s Chamber display that displays unparalleled architectural brilliance.

Day 3: Cairo – Nile Cruise

After breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Aswan to complete your Egypt group tours. By visiting the High Dam and the Philae Temple. Then, transfer to the cruise ship and enjoy lunch on board Nile cruise. 

Aswan High Dam

There are countless of ancient monuments that you can visit in Egypt, but when it comes to what is modern and unique, we must mention the magnificent Aswan High Dam which was built in Aswan and which actually changed the entire way of life in Egypt and provided huge amounts of antiquities. Philae Temple

You cannot leave the city of Aswan without visiting the magical temple of love and beauty, the Temple of Philae, which was built mainly in the Ptolemaic era between 380-362 BC for the goddess Isis, who was the wife of the god Osiris, and of course you should have heard dozens of different stories related to their love story. Start your day of your Egypt group tours with breakfast on board the Nile cruise ship. By visiting the extraordinary Kom Ombo Temple and learn more about the two gods it is dedicated to: Haroeris and Sobek. Afternoon tea will be served to you, and then you will continue your sailing to Edfu. Enjoy dinner on board and enjoy Galabya party. Overnight on the  Nile cruise ship in Luxor.

Kom Ombo Temple

 

Our senior guests really love heading to the magnificent Kom Ombo Temple where they will find two magical temples built between 180 BC and 47 BC on the bank of the Nile during the Ptolemaic Dynasty, each dedicated to a different ancient civilization. Machine.

One of the temples was dedicated to the crocodile god “Sobek” and the other temple to the falcon god Horus.

Day 5: Nile Cruise – Luxor

Have breakfast on board the Nile cruise ship, then visit the Temple of Horus in Edfu. Cross the lock and sail to Luxor, where you will enjoy afternoon tea. You have the option of visiting the Karnak Temples dedicated to the god Amun-Ra, his wife Mut, and their son Khonsu.

Then explore Luxor Temple, built by Amenhotep III and completed by Ramesses II. You will be served dinner on board the Nile cruise ship, followed by a galabiya party. Spend your night in Luxor.

Edfu Temple

The stunning Temple of Edfu is one of the most amazing and well-preserved shrines ever seen in Egypt. It was built between 237 and 57 BC in the Ptolemaic Kingdom to honor the great falcon sky god Horus, the god of victory and divine protection.

What makes it a great site for tourists is the amazing inscriptions on its walls which provide really important data regarding the ancient culture of the Hellenistic period in Egypt.

Luxor Temple

To complete your exciting day in Luxor, you will visit the wonderful religious temple of Luxor, which dates back to 1392 BC. Its construction was begun by Pharaoh Amenhotep III, and Pharaoh Tutankhamun was the one who was able to complete it, as it is a true masterpiece.

Many great kings were crowned there, such as Ramesses the Great, Amenhotep III and Alexander the Great. The temple also honors the concept of royal renewal as well as being a center of celebration where the Opet Festival was held.

Day 6: Luxor / Cairo

Enjoy breakfast on board the cruise ship before disembarking. You have the option of taking a hot air balloon flight over the Valley of the Kings, Valley of the Queens, and Mount Nobles. This enchanting experience lasts approximately 30-45 minutes, depending on weather conditions.

After that, cross to the West Bank and visit the Valley of the Kings, the Temple of Hatshepsut and the Colossi of Memnon. Continue to Luxor Airport to return to Cairo. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel. Overnight in Cairo.

Valley of the Kings

There you will find some amazing ancient royal tombs of the greatest pharaohs in the Valley of the Kings who were able to rule Egypt such as Ramesses II, Amenhotep I, Seti I, Tutankhamun, Hatshepsut, and many other amazing tombs numbering 63. Various tombs created from 1570 B.C. AD to 1050 BC and you can choose which tombs you would like to enter.

Colossi of Memnon

In the Colossi of Memnon, you will find two identical statues belonging to Pharaoh Amenhotep III (391-1353 BC), which was designed in 1350 BC and which had many interesting ancient achievements that varied between temples, statues and monuments, and left some wonderful stories that can be told.

The Mortuary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut

The Temple of Hatshepsut belongs to the amazing Queen Hatshepsut (1508-1458 BC) completed in 1479 BC who ruled Egypt in a very wise and intelligent way and also managed to build many monuments dedicated to the creator god Anu whom she served. The chief priestess plus she managed to commemorate her as a successful queen of Egypt including a magnificent temple which is a must visit.

Day 7: Day Trip to Alexandria

After breakfast, your tour guide will pick you up from your hotel for a day trip to Alexandria. Start your tour with a visit to the Library of Alexandria, one of the largest libraries in the world, containing 8 million books. Explore its open court and free museums.

Next, visit the site of the Lighthouse of Alexandria, which now houses Qaitbay Citadel. Discover King Farouk’s royal gardens and see the Haramlek and Salamlek palaces, as well as the royal beaches.

Visit the Abu Abbas Mosque, the Monument to the Unknown Soldier of Alexandria, and the Statue of Alexander the Great. Have lunch (optional) before visiting St. Mark’s Church, the oldest church in Africa. Drive along the promenade to admire the city from the seaside, including the underwater monuments of the Old Port.

Stop at the famous Stanley Bridge, a modern landmark. Explore Alexandria’s old city center, built by Alexander the Great. You have extra time and specific interests, let us know and we can arrange additional activities at cost.

Day 8: Cairo – Departure

After breakfast at the hotel, our representative will transfer you to the airport and assist you with final departure procedures.
