This trip will start by checking out from your hotel in the early morning after having your breakfast, then head with our tour guide by special cars to enjoy a great excursion to:
Giza pyramids:
The pyramids were built in this pyramidal shape, which was associated with the idea of the creation of the universe among the ancient Egyptians. They believed, according to some of their writings and religious texts, that the pyramid was a means to help the deceased's soul reach the heavens with the god Ra. Sometimes, the sun's rays can be seen between the clouds, taking the pyramidal shape, which was one of the many means to help them ascend to the heavens.
The Great Pyramid of Giza, “Khufu Pyramid”:
The construction of the Great Pyramid is a major cultural leap in the history of ancient Egypt. Khufu was influenced by his father, King Sneferu, in building his pyramid; after his death, Khufu became the ruling god on earth, and it became necessary for him to think about building his tomb, which is considered the first national project in ancient Egypt, in which professional workers from all over Egypt participated. The valley temple is special because it's still in good condition, even though it's so old. It was built with big limestone blocks and covered in polished granite. This has helped it survive for thousands of years, making it one of the best-preserved structures from ancient Egypt.

The grand Egyptian museum has a huge collection of ancient Egyptian artifacts, with over 100,000 pieces. This includes the famous King Tutankhamun collection, which has 5,398 pieces and takes up a big space in the museum.

Saqqara Step Pyramid:
The Step Pyramid of Djoser is the first Egyptian pyramid, consisting of six mastabas stacked on top of each other, representing a huge development in tomb design at that time. The pyramid stands 62 meters high, with a base area of 109m x 125m, and was covered in polished white limestone. Pompey's Pillar:
The Column of Serapeum, also known as the Pompey's Pillar, is a Roman column and one of Alexandria's most famous landmarks. It was built on top of the Serapeum hill, standing 27 meters tall, made of red granite. It was constructed to honor the emperor Diocletian and is called the Column of Serapeum due to its towering height.
Qaitbay Citadel:
Qaitbay Fort in Alexandria was constructed on the site of the ancient Lighthouse of Alexandria, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. The fort features a statue of Poseidon, the Greek god of the sea, at its highest point.

Alexandria Library:
The Library of Alexandria is the first public government library known in history and was the largest library of its time. The Library of Alexandria was established by the successors of Alexander the Great. The fame of the ancient Library of Alexandria (Bibliotheca Alexandrina) is due to it being the oldest public government library in the ancient world, not because it was the first library in the world, as temple libraries were known to ancient Egyptians. At the end of the day you will be transferred back to your hotel in Cairo to spend your night.

Day-04 Fly to Aswan, Check in to The Cruise
In the morning enjoy your breakfast, check out from your hotel and transfer to Cairo airport to catch your flight to Aswan. Once you arrive, you will meet our tour guide to continue your Trip and visit:
The Aswan High Dam:
The Aswan High Dam is the backbone of Egypt's Nile water control project, constructed with Soviet assistance starting in 1960. The dam plays a vital role in hydroelectric power, irrigation, and agriculture.
The Unfinished Obelisk:
The Unfinished Obelisk is a pink granite obelisk in Aswan, It would've stood 41.7 meters tall, weighing around 1168 tons when complete.
Philae Temple:
This temple dates back to the 3rd century BC, followed by various eras such as the Greek, Roman, and Byzantine periods, each leaving its mark on the temple walls. The remains of Philae Temple contain many buildings dating back to the Ptolemaic era, it is one of the most prominent temples built by Ptolemy II Philadelphus, and this temple was dedicated to the goddess Isis, mother of Horus, who was known to the ancient Egyptians as the goddess of motherhood and the moon, and in this temple there is a view of the birth chamber in which the birth of Horus was celebrated and Isis appeared in it breastfeeding her son Horus in the thicket. Kom Ombo Temple:
The Temple of Kom Ombo is located in the city of Kom Ombo, Aswan Governorate, southern Egypt. The temple was built during the reign of Ptolemy VI to worship the gods Sobek and Horus. Recently, restoration and renovation works have been carried out in the temple area. But its decoration was not completed until the Roman era, during the time of Emperor Tiberius. We also see in this temple the same characteristics found in other Egyptian Ptolemaic temples in terms of design, architecture, and decoration, but this temple has a special feature that resulted from the local worship in the place, where people worshiped two local gods, Sobek and Horus the falcon-headed, and despite the difference between these two gods in origin and character, they lived side by side for centuries without being mixed or paired with each other. After this visit you will be transferred back to the cruise.

Edfu Temple or the Temple of Horus, is the second largest temple in ancient Egypt, after the Temple of Karnak. The temple was dedicated to the main god Horus, who was identified as Apollo according to the Greek interpretation. It is one of the best-preserved shrines in Egypt. The temple was built during the rule of the Ptolemaic Kingdom between 237 and 57 BC. The inscriptions on its walls provide important information about the language, mythology, and religion during the Hellenistic period in Egypt. In particular, the temple's inscribed building texts "provide details of its construction and preserve information on the mythical interpretation of this and all other temples as the Island of Creation".

The Valley of the Kings:
The Valley of the Kings, also known as "Valley of the Gates of the Kings", is a valley in Egypt used for constructing tombs for pharaohs and nobles of the New Kingdom during the 18th to 20th dynasties. It's located on the west bank of the Nile River, opposite Thebes (modern Luxor). The valley is divided into two: the East Valley (with most royal tombs) and the West Valley.
Hatshepsut Temple:
The Temple of Hatshepsut is notable for its reliefs depicting her maritime expeditions to Punt, trading and bringing back incense and myrrh. Pharaohs offered incense to their gods for favor. The expeditions also transported woods, trees, rare animals, and leopard skins, which were prized materials obtained from Punt.
Colossi of Memnon:
They are twin statues of Amenhotep III depicting him seated, hands on knees, facing east (southeast). On the throne, his wife Tiye and mother Mutemwiya are carved. The side panels depict the Nile god Hapi, The twin statues are made from a single block of sandstone quartzite, quarried from the Red Mountain.

Khan El-Khalili:

I found EgyptaTours and was very pleased with the itinerary options they offered. My agent was super helpful in the planning process and the accommodations once we arrived to Egypt were OUTSTANDING. Our guides were fabulous, communicative, highly knowledgeable, and super friendly. They even allowed us to alter our itenerary in Egypt to allow us time to see some new things that we didn't know about while planning the trip!
