Dinner Cruise 

In the evening, you will have an exciting experience on a magical Dinner cruise along the Nile River. The Great Pyramid:

The Great Pyramid of Pharaoh Khufu (2609–2584 BC) is a legendary monument of grandeur and glory. It was designed as a final resting place for the king by his main vizier Hemon and constructed around 2570 BC. Standing originally at about 146 meters (481 feet), it was the tallest man-made structure in the world for over 3,800 years until the Lincoln Cathedral in England was built.  The pyramid is made of roughly 2.3 million limestone blocks weighing a total of 6 million tons, carefully placed using advanced engineering techniques. Inside, you’ll find the King’s Chamber, the Grand Gallery, the Queen’s Chamber, and more.

The Great Sphinx:

The Sphinx is a remarkable statue with the body of a lion and the head of a human, usually believed to represent Pharaoh Khafre (2558–2532 BC), symbolizing his strength and wisdom. This limestone statue measures 73 meters (240 ft) long, 19 meters (62 ft) wide, and 20 meters (66 ft) high.

The Valley Temple:

The Valley Temple is a mortuary temple used in the funeral rituals and mummification of the 4th Dynasty pharaohs. Made of massive limestone blocks, it showcases impressive architecture and intricate stonework, shedding light on the Opening of the Mouth ceremony, an important part of the mummification and purification process.You’ll have lunch at a local restaurant before continuing to the Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM).

The Grand Egyptian Museum:

The GEM is a gateway to thousands of incredible artifacts spanning nearly 5,000 years of Egyptian history. Located near the Giza Pyramids and covering around 490,000 m², the museum showcases treasures like the Hanging Obelisk, the 11-meter Colossus of Ramses II, and the complete collection of over 5,000 artifacts from Tutankhamun.  The museum highlights the wealth, power, art, and architectural achievements of ancient Egypt. St. Catherine Monastery changed the face and fate of the entire planet which was built between 548 and 565 AD at the foot of Mount Sinai, which is believed to be the mountain where Moses received the Ten Commandments. The monastery is named after St. Catherine of Alexandria, a Christian martyr who was executed in the 4th century AD.  It is one of the oldest Christian monasteries in the world that has been continuously inhabited since its establishment in the 6th century.  St. Catherine's Monastery is also recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The monastery complex consists of various structures, including the fortified walls, the Church of St. Catherine, the Chapel of the Burning Bush, and several other chapels and buildings. The Karnak Temple Complex is where the gods and goddesses of ancient Egypt were honored and where blessings were believed to be bestowed upon the people. The complex is mainly dedicated to the worship of Amun, part of the Theban triad, along with his consort Mut and their son Khonsu. It was built and expanded by various pharaohs over around 2,000 years, from the Middle Kingdom into the Ptolemaic era (1970–30 BC). Covering more than 100 hectares (274 acres), the complex includes temples, pylons, sanctuaries, and other structures. Highlights include the Great Hypostyle Hall with its 134 massive columns, some reaching 23 meters high, and the Avenue of Sphinxes, which leads to the magnificent Luxor Temple.

Luxor Temple

The Luxor Temple is a stunning monument built to host royal festivals such as the Opet Festival, celebrating the rejuvenation of kingship. Completed around 1400 BC, it was built and enlarged by great rulers including Amenhotep III, Tutankhamun, Ramesses II, and even Alexander the Great. The temple impresses with its massive pylons, spacious courtyards, statues, obelisks, and a grand colonnade. Hidden among the hills, it has a main entrance leading to 63 rock-cut tombs, including those of Tutankhamun, Ramses II, and Seti I. The tombs are decorated with intricate wall paintings and hieroglyphs showing religious rituals, history, daily life, and funerary scenes, giving a fascinating insight into ancient Egyptian beliefs about the afterlife.

Hatshepsut Temple:

The holy Hatshepsut Temple is a glowing marvel of power, beauty, and history, built to honor the birth, legacy, and faith of Queen Hatshepsut (1507–1458 BC), one of Egypt’s most successful rulers and the priestess-wife of Amun. Situated at the base of cliffs, the temple is a masterpiece of Egyptian architecture, with three terraced levels connected by ramps and colonnades. Its walls are covered with detailed reliefs showing Hatshepsut’s achievements and divine lineage.

Colossi of Memnon:

The Colossi of Memnon are two enormous statues that once guarded the entrance to the mortuary temple of Amenhotep III (1386–1349 BC), built around 1350 BC. Each statue is about 18 meters (60 feet) high and weighs around 720 tons. Made of quartzite, they are remarkable examples of ancient Egyptian monumental sculpture. After exploring, you’ll return to your cruise for the night.

Edfu Temple is a magnificent piece of living art, famous for its grandeur and giving great insight into the religious beliefs and mythical rituals of ancient Egypt. It is one of the largest and best-preserved temples, known as the worship place of Horus, the sky falcon god of victory and protection.  The temple was built during the Ptolemaic period (237–57 BCE) on the site where Horus is believed to have defeated his evil uncle Set. Its impressive design includes pylons, courtyards, halls, and sanctuaries decorated with intricate reliefs and hieroglyphs.

Kom Ombo Temple

The extraordinary double-temple of Kom Ombo is a fascinating and meaningful wonder that shows the unique history and knowledge of that time. It’s dedicated to two gods: Sobek, the crocodile god, and Haroeris (Horus the Elder). Built between 180 BC and 47 BC during the Ptolemaic period and finished in the Roman era, the temple has a dual design with identical structures, halls, and sanctuaries for each deity on the north and south sides. Its walls are covered with detailed reliefs showing medical instruments, surgical scenes, astronomical information, and mythological stories. After the visit, you will return to your Nile Cruise for the night.

Its entrance features four colossal seated statues of Ramses II, and inside, the walls are decorated with detailed reliefs showing his military victories and religious ceremonies. The Unfinished Obelisk:

The Unfinished Obelisk is an amazing granite creation that lasted through the ages. If completed, it would have been one of the largest ever made, about 42 meters (137 feet) high. But a big crack appeared while carving, so it remains unfinished. It’s a great place to see ancient Egyptian stone-working techniques.

  • From 2 to 5 – You will have a 25% discount on the total value of the tour.
  • From 6 to 11 – You will have a 50% discount on the total value of the tour.
  • With more than 12 you will be treated as an adult and must pay the total price of the tour.
  • If your travel package includes airfare, there may be an extra fee for each child accompanying you.
  • The child policy applies to children who share rooms with their parents (maximum of 1 child sharing the parents’ room)
  • Reservations should be made as soon as possible.
  • The payment of the total amount must be made at the time of booking confirmation and can be made by credit or debit card (Visa and Mastercard) via Verisign Secured system on our website

We don’t charge a cancellation fee for tours canceled for “force majeure” reasons, such as volcanoes, earthquakes, or other reasons. If the cancellation is due to personal or business reasons and we have already incurred costs on your behalf, these costs will be transferred to you.

  • All our packages and tours of Egypt do not include entrance fees to special archaeological sites such as visiting inside the pyramids, the Museum where the Solar Boat is located in the pyramid area, or to enter the Tutankhamun tomb in the Valley of the Kings in Luxor.
  • If you wish to visit one or all of these areas, please contact us by email as soon as possible, so that we can make the necessary arrangements.
  • Tips are not mandatory. And a form of appreciation for the services provided.
