The Egyptian Museum is one of the most important cultural and historical landmarks in Egypt and it houses many important artifacts that have been moved with utmost care.
After that, you will head to visit the halls which are dedicated to
King Tutankhamun who is one of the most famous kings of ancient Egypt and the museum houses his complete collection of treasures and jewelry which was discovered in his tomb.
After that, you will go to visit the Royal Mummies halls if they are available.
Exploring the Saqqara Step Pyramid
You will continue your tour on the third day of the trip by visiting
the Saqqara Step Pyramid which is also called the Pyramid of Djoser.
It is one of the earliest pyramids which were built during the era of the ancient Egyptians and is considered an important architectural leap which is located in the Saqqara necropolis.
It was built by the engineer Imhotep for
King Djoser who is one of the most famous rulers of the Third Dynasty who ruled Egypt in the Pharaonic era. Upon the death of King Djoser, he was buried inside the pyramid.
The Saqqara Pyramid is distinguished by containing many complex underground designs.
Inside it are many corridors and halls which are decorated with the oldest known stone inscriptions which show the greatness of
ancient Egyptian civilization and the skill of its artists.
